front end question...
ok i just noticed that the ball joints i had installed the upper one has a small gap between the top, and control arm. could this cause my problem? there isnt any play in them though. but its fully greased and the other side is flush. is it possible it wasnt pressed in enough?
if their isnt any play in the joints and the truck took an alignment, then they most likely arent the problem.
back to the wheels. If they have less backspacing than the stock wheels, they will create what is called "wheel scrub", look it up, this could be the problem.

ok went back to get an alignment today. never got a print out of statistics before. but today i found th problem
Front-Toe-Left Initial was -0.25 now its at +0.05
Front-Toe- Right was right on
Total -0.15 now is at +0.10
everything else was right on, now it drives SOOOO much smoother down the road, and eliminated the play in my steering wheel
So you were right the whole time Zman...should have listened to you in the first place
