Default 99 2500 v10 auto tranny issue

Have a 1999 2500 4x4 with the v10 an auto transmission. I have had 1 issue that only occurs between the 1st to 2nd gear shift. during low rpms, the transmission will pulsate trying to shift to second and the rpms will jump up and down about 500. If you take off faster where it shifts to 2nd at 2500 rpms or higher if transitions fine between gears.

You notice it the most while making slow turns from one street to the next or in rush hour traffic.

Has anyone experience this?

I'm just throwing this out there, but I would get a Haynes manual and test or just replace the TPS (throttle position sensor).

Do you mean it is getting hung up between 1st and second? I can get mine to go up to about 3500 rpms in second if I don't let off the gas to shift it. I have the same pulsating rpm problem you have, still havent figured it out after about a year. I'm going to replace all of the sensors. This transmission is just a rough and weird shifting model.....shifts up all the time, wont shift down, makes loud clunking noises if it shifts without a load on it......
