Default crunched my fender

So i crunched my front fender today and cracked the paint.(out hunting went to turn around on snow and ice on a really narrow road that was angled and steep, went to go forward and started sliding and maybe half mph to 1 mph and slid into a tree.) So would it be worth repairing? or should i just get a new fender(i dont want it to rust)

If its that bad you are thinking about heading to the junk yard you must have smacked that tree good.

its not so much the dent(well it is because its a hard to fix spot for a dent) but its mostly the nickle sized paint chip. I didnt hit it very hard. like i said i was hardly moving but i was on glaze ice on a hill and gravity took over lol. So i think if i replace it and paint it it will eventually get scratched or dented out hunting again so i may just toss fender flares on and call it good.

Wait until deer season is over. Have one waiting to go on after deer season.

haha good idea. Already got one deer this year(today antlerless buck lol) So now i need my antlered, my elk and my bear,(didnt get nothing during bow season this year=/). So would flares be good? Cause they would protect it, right? So that way if i bounce off another tree i wont be replacing the fender lol?

Bush wackers are nice but the guys at the off road park said as soon as u tap a tree they crack which is why I never got a set. I spent that money on wheels.
