Here's something else to check. Drums and rotors rust naturally in places where the pads don't make contact. On a vehicle that sits for long periods without moving the rust could be slightly thicker in places (like at the lowest point where water would collect) and therefore heavier causing an imbalance. Something else to check into.

well it looks like one of my rims is bent. Cant say that makes me happy but at least I know what the hell is going on. Its bent on the inside ( I'll try to get a pic up) so I am assuming a new rim will fix the prob, does that sound about right to you guys?

Now i need to try to find a matching rim.......they were on the truck when I bought it, center cap says Pacer but I cant seem to find em yet. Looks like the hunt is on.

LMC truck has stock rims. Don't know about their prices though.

This one of those times I don't like being right. LMC does have the stockers, but depending on where you live, it may or may not be a good idea to order from them due to shipping costs.

Actually, just pulled my new catalog from them, and they only carry three 2nd gen styles.
1. Steelies- 68.95 a piece
2. 5 spoke alloy- 189.95 a piece
3. 5 spoke chrome- 339.95 a piece

If it were me, I'd start looking in the graveyards close to ya first.

Damn, I just assumed you had the stockers. I'll leave this info up for any others, but good luck to you, man.

it was in the military storage. I have no clue how it got bent, they had it on the machine for balance and called me over to show it to me. Its on the inside of the rim kinda hard to get a pic of it but when spinning you can really see how much it affects the wheel.

I think the rims on the truck are Pacer aluminium rims 16x8.5

DAMN! that looks pricey! Good luck finding those at a bone yard. I thought military takes care of any damage? when my sister had her car shipped to germany, Air force dinged it a little and they paid for it.
