Default Radio goes off and on

I'm driving around yesterday when all of a sudden the radio goes out! It's not the station because the clock goes away too! I'm thinking damn, blew a fuse, right?!? When low and behold it comes back on! Clock wrong and on AM, like I just reconnected my neg batt cable. Weird...thought-it's close to halloween...maybe I got a ghost!?! Well, it happened about 3 times last night, radio goes out, I turn the truck off when I get to where I'm going, turn it back on when I leave-voila! Radio once again! What in the world is going on here? Anybody know or have any ideas?

factory radio?

did it happen when you hit a bump?

take it out and check the wiring harness...also check the ground screw in the back of it.

Factory radio-yes

Bump-no

Yea I suppose a ground could have come loose, but I'd suspect that it would happen more frequently like-off-on-off-on-off, not on for a while and off for a while, but I suppose I'm going to have to break into the dash! yipee!!!
