Default What oxygen sensor????

Ok, here is my deal. I have a 2001 1500 4x4 regular cab, 5.2L, Manual. I had an issue with it stalling and sputtering and what not around 2k. After running for about 10 minutes it would be fine. A dodge tech told me to replace the intake plenum gasket, which seemed to fix the problem for about a day. I do have a check engine light still on indicating my upstream oxygen sensor. I can not get the correct sensor for the life of me. I have now purchased 3 different ones and everyone I get in the mail is the wrong one. I one sensore right before the cat converter and one after. Both have the same square connector. The one most places spec out for my vehicle have a round style connector for before the converter. My stock sensor measures about 12 inches from the threads to the end of the pigtail. I have a Bosch part # 13122, and also a Denso 234-4076. Neither of which are correct.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks guys

i was actually looking at oxygen sensors last week,(Upstream, before CAT) for i have just repaired my plenum. i went to autozone, and the had the correct one, in fact it looked exacally like the one i had on there to begin with (stock 02sensor) so i dont know if you've tried AutoZone but the have the round connector

just cut the harness off and hook it to the new sensor.

yup, autozone was the first place I tried. But what you said is what my problem is. Everyone sells me the round style connector. Mine is square.

im sorry im misunderstood, i thought you wanted the round tip....but yea do like everyone else is saying, and if you get a universal with a square top...those are easy to wire in.

Take it back to the parts store and look at ones from different years. They changed the plug a couple times.
