My fuse box under the hood beside the battery is completely disintegrating on the sides, top and starting on the bottom!!!! What in the world is the deal? Has anyone had an issue with this before? Can someone point me to a source for the part. The dealer tells me that it is a $400.00 plus plastic box! He says that the wiring harness is made into the box and doesn't have a connector so you have to buy the whole freaking wiring harness!!!

Please tell me that isn't true!

 

go to a junkyard and get one out....but it sounds like battery acid somehow got on it and ate away at it
