clearance lights on toolbox
That's what I plan on doing. Just drilling holes into the bottom of the bumper on both sides and hooking them to a seperate toggle switch.
No I mean cut HOLES in the bumper so they have to be bashed out not knocked off.
I am looking to do this maybe sometime this week. Probably to my bumper - my hitch is pretty beat.
Was just going to ask if you guys had issues with them getting hit/chipped/etc. That's not a bad idea. Let us know how that works if you do it.
What lights did you guys use? Did you just run a new wire with the factory wires for the taillights/that?
Wilfite: How did you wire that to run that way? That's awesome!

mine are 15$ walmart 55w fog lights.
keep in mind that if you cut holes in the bumper that it will rust on the edges of the cuts unless you paint it. and don't think it would look that good.
you can just do what i'm going to do and make some skid plates, that'll keep them from getting ripped off. i'm thinking that i'll make them this weekend since i can't get into the machine shop at my dads work during the week because its during business hours.

thats something else i am considering, getting flush mounted lights (like the oval shaped lights on the back of some trailer) get them with a clear lense and flush mount them, that would look cool too
