Default Pressure sensor?

First off this forum is great, ive found plenty of hints and suggestions that have helped. My new problem is gas mileage, I know there are numerous threads about this problem. Ive heard about a barametric pressure sensor, do
these trucks have one? if so where? my truck is from Georgia and I live in Colorado and that is a huge difference. Thank you in advance.

OK, first, try using more descriptive thread titles. Yours was lame. Second, yes, there is a manifold vacuum pressure sensor on the trucks, but not a barometric pressure sensor. '97 and up EFI systems can correct for altitude up to about 7k feet. Are you higher than that? Lastly, please fill out your profile info so we don't have to guess about what vehicle you have.

Plenum gasket is notorious on these V8s. Is gas mileage your only issue? These trucks are not known for good gas mileage. Any other symptoms? What engine do you have? What year truck? You have to help yourself, too.

OK, I see you added your profile info. That's the larger V8. Is that 10 mpg highway, city or combined?

10 miles combined, it seems to run fine, I just expected a little better than that. The brakes are touchy as **** though.
other than that for my first dodge I love this truck.

i was getting 9-10 city, and after i put the reienforcment kit for my plenum on, im getting about 14 mpg's city and thats no joke. and she has 193K. but ive done alot of work to it since ive had it. but the total still hasnt totaled 1000 bucks.

i have a 26 gallon tank. ive gone 98 miles all city, and some in 4 wheel drive today. and ive used a little less than a quarter of a tank
