Any Dodge 1500 truck from 96 to 2001 should work. But, buying a junkyard tranny is like playing the lottery, you almost never win. Look up PATC in google, their Viper and MegaViper tranny seem to get really good reviews and cost about the same as a rebuild with upgraded parts and TC. I plan on getting one around the first of the year.

I can type better than you and I am half drunk, write like you have at least taken 3rd grade English and you may get a better response around here, not all of us are 16 yrs old.

Ok.... first off what did you do to break the axle and the trans? Also which axle? Front? Rear? What did you replace it with? About the transmission, I am in agreement about junkyard transmissions, its pot luck at best. Rebuild/Reman is a better route to go, they sell transmissions cheap at junkyards for a reason. Since I am not quite "hip" to text speak, I can't offer anymore advice, simply because I have no clue to what you are saying.

guess your srt wasnt so "tuff" afterall (as your handle states).couldnt resist sorry...
Seriously though you have to pull a real number to break both at once.....you sure your transfer case is ok? and have you confirmed the damage or just guessing?
