Default 46RE - Stroker 408 HELP!

2001 Ram 1500 2wd stoker 408 Projection III EFI. I converted to a stroker 408 from the stock 5.9 gas. The transmission is a recent O/H with a trans-go 2 kit. I've by-passed the computer. I need to modify the transmission as it starts out in 2nd, there is no 3-4 shift or torque converter lock up (all computer controled). What can I do? Is ther a kit? (yes, I contacted PATC/No help at all). Thank you in desperation.

Not familiar with the Projection III efi, did it come with its own wiring harness or did you modify the oem harness?
Could canablize a factory wiring harness removing everything for the engine/dash and leave only the tranny connections and run it with the factory pcm. You would need to get the oem pcm flashed by B&G to get rid of torque management and mph limiter.

Try contacting B&G & see if they can help shed some light on it

i don't know a ton about the actual wiring of an automatic transmission, but i've heard of people wiring in a switch to lock in the torque converter for fuel mileage purposes. Would that possibly work for your applications. Completing an electrical circuit and putting a manual switch in for your torque converter lock up? As far as first gear im not really sure what to do.

1fast2liter brings up a good point. The kickdown cable needs to be connected. It controls the kickdown valve in the valve body which helps determine line pressure for the shifts between the gears. do you have a copy of a factory service manual for your truck? i have a pdf of the fsm for 2001 rams that extremely helpfull and breaks pretty much everything down on the truck. Maybe you could figure out way to properly set up your transmission with knowing how all the parts originally were supposed to go?
