Default Build Sheet ?

So I finely got my build sheet from Chrysler. My question is what does the LD stand for on the "DRBP Corporate 9.25 LD Rear Axle"?

Thanks, so... if it had LSD, would it have said some other abbreviation? Then mine would be an open diff. right? I did a search, but not quite the info I was looking for, and no numbers on the diff. Only a 3.5 gear tag 12 bolt pattern. I'll probably rip it apart this weekend.

A light duty axle could also have had the LSD option. You have an open diff. That 3.5 tag most likely read 3.55 at one time and indicates the gear ratio.

If you have the LSD, it'd probably show that on the build sheet.

I appreciate the responses. Well, most likely in time I will replace the rear end with something more heavy duty and with lockers. Not sure yet I'am still researching what I can do.

Ron, I noticed it said you had rack and pinion steering.
The sheet on my 96 said that also but for life of me it looks like a regular steering box.
Does yours?

I believe because the gear box is actually power assisted, (not just gears like old days).
