Default Code P0720

ok so my truck has had this code ever since ive bought it. ik its nothing serious but now the CEL light is getting a little annoying to see all the time. So i knew if was for the output speed sensor and the code says it is for Low output speed sensor RPM, Above 15 MPH. so does this mean its just as simple as getting a new output speed sensor or do i have wiring problems or what? p

p.s my speedo kinda jerks around a little bit idk if this is causing that or not but my speedo does work.

The P0720 code is the "Output speed sensor" which is the one on the transmission. The "Rear speed / Abs" sensor is the one on the differential and will not trip a PCM code.

Been there done that.. even got a T-Shirt

The ABS / Speed sensor is black an located on rear differential an the OSS sensor is cream an should be between tranny an transfer.. Only reason I even know is the idiot at Autozone.. tried to sell me the cream one for the rear speed sensor..
