not too hard. but you'll need to buy/rent/borrow a harmonic balance puller. you'll also need an air gun to get the big crank bolt on/off. its torqued to about 140. once the crank bolt is loose, leave it threaded in a little ways to prevent the puller from damaging the threads in the crank.

the only 2 ways you can really **** up are...
yank on the outside edge of the balancer and ruin it.
screw up the threads in the shaft
use a screwdriver to hold the balancer from turning and crack the alum timing cover.
