Default Newbie saying hi

Hi, I joined last week and just been reading posts and gained a lot of info from all of you, Thanks. I'm not new to mopar muscle but this is my first Ram, it had a few problems that I knew about and fixed them, My next project is fixing a P1740 code by replacing the tcc&od solenoid, while I'm at it I will install a Sonnax Sure Cure kit. I have changed all filters and fluids in motor, tran, transfer, front and rear end, also have done tune up,cap, rotor, wires, plugs and K&N drop in, I plan on doing intake soon.I love my Ram and i want to get it in tip top shape,I hope I can be of some help and have some fun here, btw I might be one of the oldest members here,I fought in Viet Nam, you do the math.
Marc

My first welding teacher fought in Nam as well, welcome to DF! I would recommend looking up "plenum leak" and fixing that as its know to cause a lot of problems for these trucks.

Welcome to the forums.

+1 on plenum leak, i bought my dodge and had no idea what the plenum was, and im a mechanic lol. I found this site and learned about it, to come and find out that my plenum was bad. There is a kit that i got, and which you should get , it totally eliminates the plenum, and gives better performance.
