Default Cam lock bolts? need some help

I've got a little problem. I went to put in my new lower control arms, or torsion bars, seems like everyone calls them something else. But i broke the bolt trying to get it out. Question is, why is there a cam bolt even there? couldnt i just use a grade 8 bolt and a lock washer?. Autozone doesnt carry them, so it looks like i will have to go to a dealer tmrw and see if they can find one for me. I will get pics in a minute

Do you mean Grade 8 bolt? Grade A is for food.

Dude! There is a cam bolt there because that bolt adjusts caster. You can't just use a bolt and washer.
