Default 2000 1500 v8 360magnum 1/2 to 3/4 ton swap possible? 2 wheel drive?

hello I was wondering what is the easiest possible way to make a dana70 rear end 1999 3/4 ton 2500 work under a 2000 dodge ram 1500...

Only way I see it happening is cutting and welding the flat plates on the axle that mount to the leafs possibly there is a better way any takers???

New leafs bigger ubolts IDK kinda lost here would like to make it work if possible...

Thanks folks!

to keep it simple I picked it up for a deal from a good friend of mine and I have tried for the last two days using the search function and just the term rear end brings up a nightmare of garbadge to sift through... I have a half ton but with a lot of miles on it would be nice to have this one for a spare at worst in case the half ton has some issues with it as I am unsure as to weather it is as good of condition with upwards of 150k miles on it.

Plus the rear end I picked up needs new abs sensor all new break hardware and pads along with cylinders gotta love when you pound it off and the rust falls out in a pile...

Errr well on second thought I suppose I have a beautiful 3/4 ton rear end for sale to recoup some of my investment I"ll just roll with it and grab life by the horns :P

That's all I can find on the swap. Dunno if that helps much or not.
