You need to make sure they come with the backing plates or they will not work!

they will work u just wont be able to see out of them cause they will bounce all over the place lol

Or the good seller include that like they should. I still have mine from when I had to mirrors. They are sick best think I have ever got.

we put some on by best friends 94 cummins. he didnt get the plates with them and hes the kinda guy who just wants to get it on there no matter if its on right or not so he put like 15 washers on each bolt to take up the slack. it worked but u could barely see out of them. he ended up getting the plates later on.

i just read over on a chiby forum that a guy used sway bar bushings as well as the plate...i think im gonna try to pick up a set at the local junkyard

im a cheap bastard, i'm just going to wait until i get my next truck (will have them factory)

i don't tow enough to even get them now anyway, usually i just tow wagons, and will be towing the Jeep, but i just put bigger spot mirrors on my factory stuff and those will work just fine

I need to get some before next summer. I cannot see out of the dumbo mirrors when towing the camper.

yea, i think the mirrors on the 98-01s were a little smaller, i can see just fine out of mine when towing
