Default Question about mounting up this grille guard

Well this probably is a stupid question..but anyway. I picked up a grille guard off craigslist for $200. I know it fits and all.. he even showed me pictures of his ram before he got rid of it with it on.

Now, here's a picture..

I'm sure the bottom mounts just go and bolt to the frame in the front, right (there are 2 holes on each side)? But where do the upper ones go? He told me they go underneath the black plastic piece on the bumper or something? But that seems strange to me.

If that is the case, how do I get those little plastic clips off on the sides to take off that piece?

Help please lol

I can only tell you many mount on the bottom where the tow hooks would be and then they also are attached somehow where the foglight inserts are.....although if you do have to take off the bumper trim its super easy just reach around from underneath or the ends of the bumper and squeeze the plastic clips together from the sides....I had to replace my old bumper and most of the cheapo clips were already broken off so they do rip off easy use caution when pulling.

I'm pretty sure thats what the seller was talking about. But I couldn't get those clips to come out and I don't want to break them.. Where do they usually go by the fog lights??

And I just found out my bolts I got fit the frame but are a bit too big for the grille guard so I'll have to go back to lowes :\

Well I sat there and looked..and I think maybe he was talking about the black piece on the very bottom of the bumper.. sort of hangs below it. It's held on by what looks like torx screws but they sure as hell aren't coming out.

Always something.. Ugh.

Yeah when I was looking at it earlier I was thinking it looked like it was gonna be in the way. I'll probably just remove it for now. Gonna mess with it tomorrow I think.
