Default Popping coming from spark plug area

Hey there I recently did a tune up on my 97' ram 1500 and there's been a popping noise coming from my spark plugs which is causing it to misfire and idk what is wrong I torqued them all to spec but some did have a faint ticking noise when tightening could that be the problem?

I believe I would remove all the plugs and check to see if any were broken or cracked.

if it sounds like a snapping sound, you have fire jumping to ground.
could be a cracked plug, bad wire, burned out wire, pinched wire, loose boot, etc.

run it in the dark and look for some pretty blue fire....

That noise may just been the "crush washer" (loose washer on the end) seating. Hopefully...

I've never used a torque wrench on a spark plug in the 59 years I've been driving.

when i rebuilt my motor i saw there was a torque for the plugs and im thinking it was 30ftlbs. When i torqued them i was kind of affraid felt like they were gonna snap or strip so needless to say that was the first and the last time i will ever torque them. never had before and never will again
