CAM question
Alright guys finally got my ram back....it runs like crap seems way out of whack after a year of rebuilding it completely and everything practically new on it.
Alright it won't idle unless I hold the gas lightly otherwise it will shudder and hunt for an idle zone.
secondly there is no power to the wheels it seems and the mech said when you get on it there is a lot of spark rattle ...what is that?
thirdly when i shift it into drive or reverse the motor will shudder and die...
and lastly I have changed so much on it bored it ground and balanced it seems my ecu is in perma fry i have driven it 30mi hoping it would re learn but nope.
SO now i have the question of I have put a 210x cam in it and the machine shop swears its gotta be the cam throughing it all off and they say the timing is still wrong but needs to be re done ecu wise.
I have the sct tuner with program should I load that up even though the fac ecu hasn't relearned? do you think it will solve the probs?

Did they set the fuel sync? Most shops that do work on Fords & Chevy dont know how to set the fuel sync on a Dodge mtr. Dstributor could be off a couple degrees & has the injectors firing out of time from valve/spark. 4-6* retarded & it will run like pure crap & have no power.
Need to use a scanner like the Snap on MT2500, hold it at 1000rpms & then adjust the distributor till you get a sync reading of 0* to 4*+ & lock it down. Will bounce by 1*(assuming new timing chain/gears) if holding it at 1000rpms so 0-1+, 1+-2+ etc etc. Wouldnt set it higher than 4* adv. If done at idle it has bigger variance & is harder to set.

Trying to load the prog but keep gettin not enough voltage error so i am running up to autozone to charge the batt full and see if I can get it done.

Alright more to the story...call sct about the codes they said that there products don't cover 96 so will it still work? I called krc since they are the ones who sold me the tuner and program for the 210x cam and marty wasn't in so waiting for reply....of course the build has taken over a year now so my outlooks of getting this corrected are looking grim I am almost positive that I indicated it was a 96 when I ordered.....I really am getting tired of all these setbacks nothing ever just works.....wha wha wha : (
