Default yes, another tranny thread

well here recently since its getting colder ive noticed that my truck doesnt like to shift out of 2nd for a long time. when i first start it up in the morning and its been about 20 degrees here lately, it wont shift out of second gear, even when im goin about 55. i have to either let off of the gas completly and coast down to about 40 then start goin again for it to shift to 3rd or pop it into neutral and back into drive to get it to shift. when it is warm it doesnt do it tho. anyone ever had this problem?

Mine has 220,000 on it and its not really changing to bad just a little slow some times. I just wait and back off a little wait for it change then re press the peddel.
