Dodge Ram Paint
Hello,
I am curious to know if anyone has information reguarding the paint on my truck. The code is PFA and I am wondering how rare this paint is...? I have been looking for a truck with the same paint for a couple years so I can replace my short box. This search has turned up little result between ebay, craigslist (A wide variety of cities as well) and a local salvage yard. Does anyone have a truck for sale or a box with this paint code? Is this a rare paint code?

A quick use of our SEARCH feature here,( I typed in Dodge Paint Codes) brought me to a thread with a link to a website for paint codes. (Ain't technology great).
Color Code: PFA/MFA
Color Description: Light Driftwood Satin Glow
Since you gave zero info about the truck other than its a Ram, I just did a general search. So I can't really tell you how rare it is or isn't. Good luck!

Hahaha well isnt that funny. Thanks for the tip on the color code search (NOT that I have not done that 3000 times) but unforunately that doesnt help me find used body parts in my color. I know the basic information is available but I was just curious how long I would have to scower the country to find an appropriate box.
:/
Thanks to those who REPLIED to my question though, I see now I am not the only sorry *** with a "semi-rare" color that is expensive for a body shop to duplicate. yay!

yeah, they will look at the paint code on your truck, use touchmix, and duplicate the exact color on your truck, and blend the cab also, so it matches, and you can't tell its been painted. they can also make the color like more faded or whatev so it matchs completely. ha i work in a body shop
