i did a quick test drive and it worked much better, ill do a better check tonight when i go to AC. and yes i made sure they used atf4

its actually about 100$ for the governor pressure solenoid and sensor, then 25$ for fluid, and 20$ for a filter.

Unless I had access to a heated garage, I would have paid them to do it too.
No way would I do something like that in 10 degree weather unless it was a matter of life or death.

im in jersey and its been raining so much hear, my parking spot is a mud hole, and it was like 36 degrees today so screw that. and the fluid i use was $35 valvoline sythetic atf4. and i saw the solonoids on ebay for like $115ish so i said screw it they can do it

im having this same problem. maybe i should have that checked out. hopefully thats my problem too and not a full rebuild

a couple people here lately have had a clogged solenoid. that's why i say to take it to a transmission shop to get them to check the pressure while its going through the gears.

the shop i went to doesn't charge for diagnostics, whether you have them fix it or not. so if i were to fix it myself then at least i wouldn't have had to pay for them to tell me what was wrong. thats why i also say to call around to find a shop like that.
