Wink Balljoints

Has anyone else had trouble finding the right upper balljoints for their 2000 dodge ram 4x4s? I bought the replacement balljoints from o'reillys and from autozone, but both of theirs were too long?! The one I pressed out was threaded shorter than the ones they gave me. Any help? or part #s?

assuming you have a 2000 1500,
just a wild guess, but you might try a 1999 1500 or a 2000 2500.

i think the 2000/2001 had different knuckles/brakes than the 99 and back.
you might have a 99 front end.

negative on the 99. autozone lists the same 1632 for 99, 00, 01
