What's that got to do with putting a woofer in except for the fact that it's going to kill your highs and mids that are already lacking?

i got in the van to fast and reached to start it and hit the faceplate release button and it just fell

Check out Crutchfield.com. They are usually pretty good at letting you know what will and will not fit in the vehicle. Their prices are pretty good compared to anything local. Have all the installation crap you will need (OEM to aftermarket harness). And even have quite a few installation help guides. Even if you don't order through them, the time spent on their site figuring what you want would be worth it. Once you've built your system, then shop around for what you are willing to pay.

Ijust installed an alpine deck with 3.5mm jack and usb, alpine 6x9, radio is sweet to i use a jump drive in usb port works great and alot of tunes fit on it. Santa got it all for me!!!

headphone jack and a usb port, that wouldn't happen to be a cde-102 would it?

That is funny, I have the exact setup in my truck. I love the USB drive, you really don't need a CD player anymore. I just put all of my music on the flash drive.
