tool box looks good.

I just installed one on mine a couple weeks back but I have the single opening lid.(I love it, only if I could get the damn thing open).

Looks good, but it looks like that truck has had one in there before or something large has smacked the front of the bed before....

Tool boxes are great to run, I've got mine out right now, but it's only because I'm hauling hay at the moment.

i was wondering when someone was going to notice, the previous owner, 1st and only other. He baught the truck brand new in 1999 and put 68,000 miles on it. he traded it in in june of this year i got it in july. He used it souly for a 3rd vehicle. mainly to haul the 4wheeler to deer camp from what he told me. he had 265 tires on this little v6 2wd lol. and he said he just when to fast one day and smacked it with the 4 wheeler. doesn't really bother me now that its barely noticble with the toolbox.

if that is rubbing on your cab, you can pull it back with just your hands, be careful tho, you can pull it too far

Actually, it's not good for that to be rubbing. My tool box's bolts got stripped out by an ignorant Carpet jockie (Don't ask. Long story) and it slid to the front and did a number on the bed kinda like yours, but in two different spots.

I just took a piece of plate steel and wrapped it in a towel, wedged down between the bed and the cab and pried it back. Works like a charm every time.

i'll have to try one of those methods.
i agree on the blk. this is so tarnished i was gonna polish it but now im using a wired drill bit and taking the polish off so i can paint it a high gloss black, or line-x it.
