Default Plow Suspension

My truck needs new front suspension. It is starting to bottom out over bumps during normal conditions...even more so with a plow on it. I plow my own driveway in the winter, no commercial plowing. My truck has had a 7.5 ft minute mount on it since new. I am getting quite a range in prices for springs. The dealership wants to charge me $376 for a set of springs. One autparts store will charge $157 for Moog varaible rate springs. And then a few shops with in betwen prices. All say that their springs are the ones for the job. What springs do you plow guys run or recommend?
Thanks,

YOu can go to the junkyard and get some 3/4 ton springs from a V10 or a Cummins on the cheap. The 3/4 ton springs will be stiffer and taller so they can take the weight of the plow much better than the 1/2 ton springs. You will also get about 2'' lift in the front.

I can see how the 3/4 ton springs will work well with the plow on...but will they be too stiff when the plow is off?

Yea but its not that bad I have 3" lift coils in my truck and I like them better than the stock coils. I feel the ride is much better than the stock coils. But I don't plow.

It'll ride like a truck.
