Default Just bought a Ram yesterday and need help please!!

Ok so i bought a 97 ram, 5.2 4x4 thats a manual... yesterday it drove perfect, but today after about 2 hours of driving the gears were messing up.. from a dead stop it will not go into first, ill have to be rolling, it wont even go into second!! Only while rolling, if i turn the truck off, it shifts fine, please help...
maybe something is getting hot?

sounds like the hydraulic clutch is out of fluid. check the clutch master cylinder on the drivers side firewall. It looks like a smaller version of the brake master cylinder.

See if its low and fill it with brake fluid. Pump the clutch a few times and look for your leak. THere is a small line running from the Clutch master cylinder to the Clutch slave cylinder on the transmission. follow it down and look for your leak.

Chances are, its the master cylinder is bad is leaking fluid down the firewall. Look for bubble paint under the clutch master cylinder, its a sign the it is leaking.

No whine sound, I hope its just the leak you are talking about, im going outside now to look, thank you so much!!

Didnt I read this already last night?....... Oh yeah I did, You started multiple thread about the same exact thing....Please dont do that. Its a big no no here....MOD's dont like it and it makes a lot of us think we have dejavu. and is confusing

normally thats when you bump and ask something like anyone? please?....but you have to give it time...at least a couple hours before even doing that.
