If you Converted to Electric Cooling
Where did you tie in for your Switched 12v? I completed the conversion a few weeks ago (just in time for the below 0 temps) but I've starting getting an "Odd" problem with stalling. The only way to keep the truck running is to hold down the gas to keep the rpms above 1k. after about 5 minutes it runs just fine. I'm wondering if I maybe spliced into a switched 12v I maybe shouldn't have?
I don't know what I tied into (I should, I know), but I tied into the hot side of a relay coil to power the new relay coil. Perhaps It's drawing power from that the orig relay coil preventing the operation of the relay? Even if the new coil is not being energized...
Any thoughts?
Thanks.

I tied into the AC compressor power. Did this so I would not have to run a switch. It will then be operational automatically with AC and defrost. I would only do this if you have a temperature sensor on your setup. If not then just run straight off the battery to the switch, then to the fan.
Thanks, that prob the best option any how. Not to mention that going straight to the battery (with the temp sensor) allows the fan to continue to run till the coolant temp has dropped after the key is turned off. How important is it that the fan run when the A/C compressor is on? I know in the summer it's pretty dang important...but when it's 4 f out side? Thanks.
I tied into the wiper motor as the fuse was a larger 25 amp and I figured it could handle the extra jolt if need be. I can't recall if it was the green or Blue wire right near the Driver's side immediately under the cowl. If you tap the wrong one, I believe the wipers will run without being triggered with the switch on the accessory branch.
There is a separate A/C circuit on some controllers, like the flex-a-lite 31165, that will also engage the fans immediately upon switching the HVAC on. I have to unplug it in the winter as the truck runs too cold with the heat on, and I get a P1281 code.
