Tires And Gears HELP!!!! PLEASE
You won't have to regear, but your speedometer will be way off and you will seriously lack on low end power if you don't... not to mention your gas milage will be terrible. If you choose to regear, you HAVE to do both front and rear and should go 4.56s to bring it close to stock or 4.88 for a little lower gear.
You are in a dead area and you need to post in your era of year of make.

^ well said.
To the OP, wecome to DF. You should search around the forums a bit. There is like 3 other recent threads about this exact same question, with pages of answers and suggestions. I am surprised Miami hasn't combined them all yet
I always love to say...you don't have a "posi" because you don't have a GM product. You may have a "limited slip", "anti spin", or "trac lok". though.
Ok I said it again.
