Default Coil Spring Upgrade

hey guys, so i'm putting 3/4 ton spring on my 1500. my question is are the springs different depending on engine size. i ordered some the other day at advance auto and they selected the ones for the 5.9 V8. will that make a diference or is all i'm looking for the 8800 GVW? oh by the way i'm looking to get some lift out of them.

Yes, the spring's height are dependant on the engine size, ie V10 is heaiver than 360, and Cummins is heaiver than V10. You should probably get 2'' of lift with the V10 springs.

well i think i solved my issue... i did a bit more research and found out that the stock replacement for a 3/4 ton with the 360 is 7500 GVW and the V10 is 8800 so i think that even though they put in a 360 on their computer i'll be alright since i got the 8800
