You don't get it because you probably don't understand how prohibitively expensive a good turbo setup is. It's not something you slap on for a few hundred dollars. All said and done out the door a good turbo setup can range anywhere from $5-30k.

Turbocharging isn't like throwing in a new cam. It's a completely different animal.

true... if you pay a company to build it, i built my entire twin turbo system for my 98 diesel, w/new turbos, from exhaust to intake, for less than $2k and 70psi of boost is really fun

ya it's not a turbo but my friend supercharged his truck for about $800 with a used paxton supercharger. He likes it but I'm not sure if your going to find anything that cheap.
