Yea im pretty fkin cheap, thinking of doing the fiber glass idea, gunna look at the garden edge stuff! lamo. red ned?! Yupppp

thanks for the links, needed to see how it was done! like that concept, little bit or shaving and they'd be fine. But, i was hopeing that they would be on the out side of the body, starting to get the wheel well rust comming through.

I had rust on mine starting too....I ground out all the rust and applied rust zero to stop it from comming back (covering it with flares will make it rust faster) and then cover it up with the stainless fendertrim for $75....it looks good on my truck being that it was all black and needed something to break it up anyways..
they did have abs flares that covered 4" for $2xx on ebay when I got mine

that's a lot of money in my mind (broke college student), but for real glass flares, not bad at all

I'm a college student, and I don't see how that's expensive. Compared to all the other things we buy for these trucks, that's cheap. Just my opinion.

And its not for glass flares, its for glass fenders.
