Default New edelbrock heads, Should order or use stockers

so im online and am going to be ordering some new cylinder heads soon here but am in a debate on if i want to order some edelbrock heads for like 700 or stock ones for around 400-500.

Edelbrock needs adjustable rockers and hardened push rods which i would order and sell my 1.7s to someone that needs them

The stock ones i could just throw my 1.7s on if i buy them.

What kind of gains are there in going with aftermarket heads?

These are what im looking at, if they work.

the edelbrock

The stockers

The edelbrock ones should work for mine? It says 1993 and later does that mean it goes to like 1980 or does it mean it goes to 2001?

The stockers wont be ordered from that site just showing you.

I would go for edelbrock but $700 per head is a lot. Check into these guys. http://cylinder-heads.com/index.cfm. I believe a member BlueBeast2? ordered a set of heads from clearwater and liked them.
