Default Adjustable Trac Bars

Hey y'all.. Happy New Year! The 97 4X4 I bought has a 5" lift on it, so while looking through the lift, I seen a few things that were custom modifications. on the truck, which as we all know customer does not always mean "Correct". Looking at my front suspension, I was checking out how they did the track bar. Instead of getting an extion bracket for where it connects via the ball joint, the have an "L" brack coming off of the housing on the passanger side, which isn't ideal in my opinion at all (will post Pics later today).

So with that being said, I am looking into an adjustable track bar. Besides being FREAKIN EXPENSIVE ($225-$350 range), I am a little concerned with their performance. Have any of you installed an adjustable Trac Bar, and if so, what brand did you buy, and how have they worked for you. I am looking at one on ebay made by SkyJacker.
