the cummins could also be equipped with 3:55s....

good thing the ditch was small, any ditch around here, if i put my truck in one, it would most likely end up totaled (and a possible side of me drowning)

For 1500s, the only options were pretty much (IIRC) 3.21s, 3.55s and 3.92s, with the exception of the Off Road Edition in 2000-2001. It came with 4.10s.

The 2500s/3500s, if memory serves, were offered with more gear ratio choices without going to a "special" package like the Off Road Edition.

i know i have to be incredibly careful when in in the Kenworth if im heading to a few of our muck fields (on the same road)...i take the back way there, so i don't have to turn the truck around in the field (which sits much lower than the road), the last road before i turn onto Tamarac (field road) has a ditch about 10 feet deep and the road's narrow, if a car is coming, my tires are on the white line....just about a foot from the ditch....gotta love back roads and class 8 trucks

Been there done that lol. Makes it even worse if its snowy! Or if the other person drifts in your lane.
