i replaced that with an everstart maxx battery that has 875 cca and now it really zings the starter even when it's 20º outside.
That's the one I just bought,$60 bucks.

all the vehicles at my house have an everstart maxx because you can't beat the price, warranty or quality on them.

my sisters 96 nissan pickup had the alternator go out at 75k and 150k, then she traded it for the ram just before it hit 220k so it was almost time for another alternator.

Yeah,I had my old battery checked at Advance. The guy said, "It's the battery" and I told him I was going down the street to Wal-Mart.He said he couldn't tell me that W-M was cheaper, then wispered, "They are about $15 cheaper" lol.

lol i had a 93 nissan 4x4 5 speed, i redid the suspension, frame, timing chain and componants, u joints and front cv shafts, throw out bearing, fuel pump cuz sendin unit wsa leakin, got 31x10.5x15 mud kings on it, and a bunch more stuff. the truck only had 78K when i sold it. (62K when i bought it i was the second owner, had every recipt for everything, even oil changes, and i had the paper that goes in the window when at the dealership from 93 that shows all the truck stats.) i beat the ever living **** out of that truck, and it would not die. put it into a pond, took in water where it shut down, but 10 minutes later she fired back up with no problems....then i got my Ram, and im re-doing everything on that lol.

i have to say i wish i would have kept my nissan just for 4x4ing, cuz that thing could rip throug alot of stuff, and it was proprly guarged with a bunch of skid plates underneath so if i bottomed out it was no big deal
