Default Transmission upgrade for 5.2/5.9

I was wondering if there is a upgrade or replacement transmission that i can get for a 5.2/5.9 magnums and how much it would cost. Or is there just some way to make the one i got stronger like how much a rebuild kit would be etc.

Also does anyone know if the new 5 speed autos on the 5.7 is any good and do you think that would be a good upgrade if it could bolt up. Will it bolt up?

You may want to look at "Dr. Evil" or "PATC" or even "Fastman" trannies. I got mine from APS, it seems to be working just fine, but I had to wait for over 3 months to get it, after way too many inquiries as to what was taking so long... Wayne at APS seems talks a good talk when you speak with him before your order, but he really needs to improve his customer relations. It really is a shame, because he seems like he wanted to right by me, but repeatedly fell short of doing so. I personally wouldn't buy from him again, but others will swear by his product and service. Now you have my $.02 on the subject.
