with 4.10 gears hes not pulling anyone out, much less mudding... I have 4.56's with 42's and I'm still dragging in the lower end...

He took a honda civic and put a Lamborghini body on it (2wd)... He did mention he may change it to 4x4 because he's jealous of us and tired of getting his front tires out of a mud hole and his rears stuck . Lol I'm just playing.

Pretty sure hes got a diesel, so 4.10s would be plenty, pretty sure stock gears are like 3.23s?

No it would not... haha he could have a dually and with that much lift and that big of tires he would need new gears... I think diesels come stock with 4.10's and 1500 gears like you are thinking are 3.55's...

You guys are a tough crowd. We all have our trucks for different reasons, some like to rough 'em up, some like to shine 'em up. It's all good. Fact is this guy got his truck a layout in a national mag for heavy duty trucks. My truck isn't ready for that, is yours? I give the guy props he has done HIS thing well.

wow, why would you do that to a 2wd? seems kinda senseless to me, even if its a diesel your still killing your gas mileage, further more the part that really irritates me is the fact that this guy spent all this $$$$ on this truck and the front bumper i might add was the first thing i noticed, i would have taken that bumper off and beat the guy with it that put it on their all slanted and what not, if he is using that for his business what is that saying about him? a useless front axle and a messed up bumper, i'd be going to somebody else for a tattoo.....just my 2 cents.

The only thing I'm AMAZED about is the fact that someone was dumb enough to lift a 2wd that high.. THEN PUT A HITCH ON IT!!!

I'll give him cred on a sick paint job inside and out...but the front bumper is bad.. and that grille... looks ugly!! LOL (I have the same one hanging on the wall in the barn) I would have spent the money he spent on the lift and spent it on the motor/drivetrain

Why would you lift ANY vehicle that high? It's completely pointless. Then again, all lifts are pointless.

haha I never would have thought I would see the age old argument of show vs performance about trucks...lmao

sorry i find this a bit funny as i have heard it all with being into the show scene and performance scene.

i have to give credit show wise, it's a nice truck. yes he can take it on the road, but can he mud it or is he afraid to get a little mud in the tires?

on top of that, no offense to those who show and just want to do so. but a truck is a truck. Use it.

i plan on doing a custom paint to my truck but i'll be damned if thats gonna stop me from getting a little dirty once in a while
