Powerdyne is to superchargers what Jet chips are to tuners, complete CRAP
I wouldnt buy it regardless of cost.
They have a few design flaws that could cost you a motor.
The internal belt that drives the impellar are notorious for early failure. The impellar bearings are known to fail prematurely as well. Never over drive one! If the bearings fail it can cause the impellar to disintegrate & scatter the motor. They use to supply a cheap POS plastic tb hat that would leak, some still come with it. Most kits they dont supply anything for fuel which is just plain stupid. Adding 75rwhp without fuel means your running super lean and going to damage the motor. Stock headgaskets can not handle running lean with boost at all. Barely handle boost to begin with.
If you want a good supercharger you have 3 choices only IMHO
Procharger, Paxton & Vortech. All 3 are quality products that will last. They all supply fuel parts with them, the later 2 include some way of pulling timing also. The Procharger includes an air to air intercooler so you dont have to pull timing (stock pcm/tuner will need timing pulled) Paxton & Vortech no longer sell kits for Rams but they did in the past so only find one used. Procharger still sells kits that are genII Ram specific.
Sorry if you own one but thats just how I feel after hearing many, many stories from Powerdyne owners over the last 12 years
