Default Brake line cost??

I just blew one of the brake lines that runs along the tank in the frame on my truck and since its single digits outside and my truck doesn't fit in the garage to work in a heated situation I have to take it to a shop. Anyone have to bite the bullet and do this before? what was your cost for it? Should I just get all the lines replaced since they look pretty brittle (dumb question but I'm on a major budget due to the holidays)?

Haha yeah thanks to you. Looks like the guy paid 120$ for just the one line! I might just buy all the lines and do the little ones myself with breaks in between to get away from the cold then get it towed to the shop for the big that's in the rail so that I don't have to sit out in the cold so long to get that one done and then they can just bleed it for me and I'll still have all new lines

what do you mean have them do the whole job instead of just the one line? The reason I want to do the small lines at least is to cut down on there labor hours that they will bill me for. I don't let anyone touch my vehicles usually either but the weather by me is not going to allow this. We just got 9 inches of snow yesterday and its now single digit temperatures before even accounting for wind chill and my truck doesn't fit in my garage either.

No,I meant just get them to do the ones that you can't get to that are leaking, so you can drive it, and when it warms up, do the rest.Do you know somebody who has a place to get it out of the weather for few hours?Buy him some beer and go at it!!!

Oh, gotcha. My only worry about that is my luck would have it that I get that one fixed and then the next storm or in a couple weeks one of the other brittle ones will just burst leaving me with double the shop labor then all at once. I have until monday to think about it so I'll keep everyone informed on it and how much it ends up possibly costing to help people in the future.
