So i have an 1999 1500 SLT laramie, i thought it would have remote locks, so i picked up a remote of ebay for a few bucks.

Turns out it was not an option on my truck, but i would like it to be.

I see that on 2002 and up models there is just an RKE box that plugs into the back of the gauge cluster.

My question is, what all is needed for my year for the O.E.M. remote locks?

i searched all over this forum, but could not find a definitive answer at all.

I don't know about OME fix but I do know that Viper did have an alarm syrtem that would control door locks as long as they already had electric locks with OR with out keyless entry.
