I have a 2001 1500 4x4 and from all of the reading I have done on this forum I came to the conclusion I have a few projects to work on this spring(wish I could start now but we are having a heat wave today with a high of 19). I am looking to replace the plenum gasket not sure which plate I will be using (or should I just look at a new intake). The governor pressure sensor and solenoid, removing the check valve,possible the sonnex cure all kit, new shocks and of course plugs, wires, distributer cap, and filters an fluids. So while I have the tranny open and the intake off anything else come to mind that I should do while in there. The truck is not a daily driver it is mainly my hinting truck and to chase home improvement supplies, I do a little towing once in a while.

you could add a trans cooler

 

When you have the intake off you may as well do the kegger mod and I would bore you tb and replace the tb gasket as well. Don't forget your rotor when your doing the cap.
