Will all 8 lug wheels fit my 97 2500? I was told before 2000 all 8 lug wheels are interchangeable
between Dodge, Ford and chevy.

 

everything but a ford wheel will fit, i cant remember what year but i think it was 97 they changed to a metric patten, but other than thoes years to present ford , any of them will all fit

 

Thanks for the info ive been looking for used wheels and found a set that a guy had on a chevy.

 

i know the hummer h2 will fit, which should be the same as chevys

 

But GMC rims will fall apart on you in a few thousand miles, just like every other GMC product... just kidding.

 

if i remember correctly, to fit them, you have to have the lug holes punched out some

 

Speaking in terms of the lug pattern, then yes, but just because the pattern is the same does not necessarily mean the wheel "fits". 2nd gen 3/4 tons will not fit a 15" wheel, while the 3rd gens will not even fit a 16" wheel. Just throwing that out there.
