Ya this is the thing I am worried about unfortunately there is almost nothing in the way of quality rams in the salvage yards around here. If they do pop up most are scrap or picked over so damn quick. But I have been looking and have feelers out for a proper bumper(now bumpers) but these feeler have been empty for severl months and I am tired of waiting.

The only problem there is that what usually turns a vehicle into a parts vehicle is a pretty good front impact.

+1 or just damaged enough on a bad tranny truck...lol So that repair effort + finished result might add up to either more time money or expertise than I have.

Anyone use CertiFit?

http://www.certifit.com/

Looks like a re manufactured parts warehouse of sorts. Have one local will call in the morning and price check. In the catalog it looks like all prices are higher than list however. Still might be a better deal than other once you add in shipping.
