318 to 360 help

Default 318 to 360 help

hi

im looking at a engine for my truck its out of a 94 and its a 360 and my truck is a 99 with a 318 but i have already put a engine in out of a 94 in but it was a 318. so is there anything difrent between the 318's and the 360's besides the computer because im getting the computer with this deal too. so shuld evrything just plug up and bolt up?

i meant your 318, the 1500 5.9 gas didnt come with a 5 speed...if they are both auto then yes im 85% sure they'll bolt up....sorry i couldnt be more help

that ok im 95% sure it will work i jsut figured id ask before i bought it and ya my 99 with the 318 is a auto...the only vehicle i own that is...the rest are 5 and 6 speeds

Just make sure you use the flexplate and harmonic balancer from the 360.
