Wtf is the fuel sync?

The dizzy is loose. We are able to turn it. However it only goes in that slot basically one way. So when we turned it 180 it was definitely wrong. It has to be right now.

The pickup plate in the distributor should have cylinder 1 marked on it. With the engine at top dead center, the rotor should point at the mark. If it does, it is in time enough to start. It would then need to be put "in sync" with a scan tool.

Snap On works, and so does my OTC Genisys. You have to know someone who has one or take it to a shop that has one. Also, I hope you are finding TDC and doing what Tizzy1 suggested, just because the distributor goes into a slot does not mean the gear is lined up correctly. The rotor has to be pointing to #1 when that cylinder is on the compression stroke.

You need to turn off the notifications.
