is the parking brake currently locked?

i mean if could be frozen in the locked position..if the pedal is still down its locked..i say try pulling on the release while having your foot under the e brake pedal and carefully feathering the throttle

ive had this happen to my dads s10 and usually doing that eventually it will break lose..then again is a manual so i can get more RPMS out of it than an automatic
