Hey Guys, you all seem to know quite a bit. So I was curious if anyone knew where I could find a factory maintenance manual that either includes, or is specific to, my 2001 1500 4WD Sport. It's the 360 model if that can help anybody help me. Not worried if it's free or not, just couldn't find one on e-bay.

 

Try a haynes or clinton repair manual, buy both if you want a complete collection.

Thanks guys, I've got a Haynes, just would love to have something with more mechanical diagrams. I haven't found a Chilton, you wrote Clinton, unless that's a brand I've never heard. Thanks though guys, I'll take a look at that link too.

 

I use that free PDF one linked above. It's great for easy searching when your trying to find something. Problem is, it is for a 2001, and I have a '99. Not a lot of changes between '99 and '01, but there are a few.

Additionaly, I was browsing ebay one day, and I picked up the 797 page Powertrain Diagnostic Procedures manual for 1999 Ram. It covers all the procedures and wiring diagrams necessary to diagnose and repair the charging system, driveability/check engine lights, speed control, starting, and complete transmission diagnostics and troubleshooting. I paid $13 for it, plus some change for shipping. I also got the 1999 Ram Truck 1500-3500 2wd and 4wd Service Manual (same thing as the free PDF one that is linked above, but this one is for my year truck). I paid $35 for it. I also have a Haynes and a Chiltons too.
